Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to participate as an Proposal Intern in Houston, TX for Summer 2024.

What will you do?


  • Analyse simple RFQs (Request for Quotation) and prepare costing as per standard process and tools

  • Prepare offer documentation consistent with validated data provided by commercial support sales & opportunity team (in bFO).

  • Perform simple risk analysis
    • Offers can be either stand-alone local tender (Cat. C) or internal sub-contractor of solution/more complex tender.



What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline preferred, i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, etc

  • Commercially-focused. Understands basic business principles

  • Ability to work in a highly diversified, intercultural workplace

  • Ability to read and understand technical documents

  • Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques.

  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.

  • A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Schneider Electric's business and customers.

  • Ability to work with multiple functions to coordinate the flow of information.

  • Must be located in Houston, TX currently or at the start of the internship; there is no relocation package for this role.
