About Us: Southeast Pump Specialist, Inc. serves Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida. We specialize in industrial pump repair and are a distributor for pumps, mechanical seals and mechanical packing.
Responsibilities
- Field Service and Repair Lead: Responsible for Pump field service push/pull, Install Rotating assemblies, Coupling inspections, Mechanical Seal installations, Repack Pumps etc. (increased wages with overtime). Overnight travel is required.
- Responsible for rebuilding Rotating Equipment, Pumps, Vertical Turbines, Gear Boxes and Blowers according to OEM Specification and our SKF Certification procedures
- Duties include visiting customers sites to promote field service and in house repair with the ability of transitioning into a full time North Carolina Service Manager reporting to our Company Service Manager.
- Cost estimation for perspective field jobs and projects
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience in a Plant or shop installing rotating Equipment
- Preferred: Carpentry skills necessary to set, form and grout pump bases
- Preferred: Operating a Laser Alignment machine, Micrometers
- Certifications: Technical Schools, NCCER Millwright are a plus.
- Excellent safety practices, drug free, clean driving record and a great work ethic
Schedule
- 10 hour shift
- On call
- Overtime
