Mechanical Engineering Intern (Summer 2024) at Clarios, LLC in San Antonio, Texas

Job Description:

What You Will Do

• Help reduce downtime due to waiting on parts that can be manufactured locally.


• Reduce downtime on conveyors.


• Improve conveyor reliability.

How You Will Do It (projects can include)

• Creating mechanical drawings for new and existing parts using CAD programs.


• Analyzing and improve conveyor speeds.


• Ensuring correct conveyor components are installed.

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university


• Pursuing an undergraduate Engineering degree program in Mechanical Engineering during senior year.


• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.


• 
  Duration: Summer 2024. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.


• 
  Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX.

Our San Antonio, Texas distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 1995, now employ more than 265 people, and operate seven days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through Toys for Tots, The Strong Foundation and Soldier’s Angels.
