As the Early Learning Director at the Cape Ann YMCA, you will help support and lead a team of teachers in nurturing the potential of every child in our care. You will be responsible for all aspects of the administration of our infant, toddler, and preschool programs located at our newest YMCA in Cape Ann. The Early Learning Director oversees program development, staffing, supervision, implementation, and evaluation.  Daily you will interact with a team of teachers, communicate with parents and families, and create a positive learning environment through leadership, strong communication, and being a role model. For this position, you must have demonstrable knowledge of early education teaching techniques and the growth and development of children, experience managing or leading others, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

To thrive in this position, you have experience as a Lead Teacher. You lead with confidence and guide with empathy. You have the desire to see each child be provided a safe, fun, educational, and nurturing place to learn, and are able to build and maintain relationships. You understand and can implement DEEC regulations. You are driven to provide quality childcare to families in need and support guiding those families to appropriate resources.
