Job Description:

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking to hire Commercial Security Systems Technicians. We are considering applicants with experience or as Trainees! Will be responsible for Installation and Service of Commercial Electronic Security Systems such as; Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Monitoring, Intrusion Alarm Systems, ID Badge Systems, Intercoms/Emergency Phones, and Parking Control/Turnstiles from start to finish. You will also interact with customers, vendors, other service providers to troubleshoot potential issues and discuss trends in the field. Valid Driver’s License required with a good driving record. Job Responsibilities:



  • Installation and/or Service of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and other Commercial Security related systems

  • Interact with Customers, Vendors, and other Contractors on-site to properly coordinate successful installations

  • Maintain safe working environment

  • Upon issuance of Company Vehicle, maintenance of issued product inventory

  • Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork and time sheets

  • Standard work hours: Monday through Friday; 7:00am to 5:00pm with availability to work overtime when necessary – Work hours may vary based on assigned projects and/or accounts


Minimum Job Requirements: 



  • Prior experience 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Must be eligible for an Arizona Alarm Agent License via ADPS Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Basic mechanical and electrical (low voltage) aptitude

  • Knowledge of appropriate usage of basic tools (i.e., drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, voltmeters, etc.)


Additional Skills:



  • Ability read and understand construction documents a plus

  • Knowledge and understanding of basic computer systems (i.e., Word, excel, etc.)

  • Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics

  • Experience installing and/or servicing electrified door hardware
