JOB TITLE: Summer Internship Program

LOCATION: ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA) NOT Remote

Responsibilities

Individuals selected will be extensively trained and be given hands-on support in the following areas:

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Product knowledge & presentation


• Customer interaction & managing sales expectations


• Sales planning & forecasting


• Objection handling & closing


• Building relationships with existing and new vendors/suppliers

MARKETING

• Assistance with Trade Show preparation and execution


• Participation in advertising and promotional activities


• Prospecting/lead generation


• Personal branding

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

• Analytics, modeling & data mining


• Structuring data for final presentation at the completion of the internship

Requirements

• 3.25 college GPA 


• Majors in Business, Marketing, Communications, I/T, or Finance strongly preferred


• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written


• Ability to work in-person out of our Headquarters 6/3 – 7/24, M – THURS 8am – 5pm
  


• Demonstrated proficiency with the MS Office suite of tools (Word & Excel & Power Point)


• An entrepreneurial spirit, a thirst for knowledge, and a track record of providing excellent customer service


• Demonstrated time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail


• Please note any of the above requirements may be substituted at the Hiring Manager's discretion
