Job Overview: The Linde Gases US Inspection Coordinator is responsible for forecasting, coordinating, and managing contract inspectors performing vessel and piping inspections at Linde's Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, and Air Separation plants in accordance with OSHA PSM and recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices including API 510, API 570, and CGA. Primary Responsibilities: - Be a leader in safety and foster engagement of all personnel in a safe work process - Manage contract inspectors performing API 510 and API 570 inspections - Review and approve inspection reports written by contract inspectors - Perform API 510 and API 570 inspections - Write mechanical integrity work orders based on inspection findings using CMMS (EAM). - Interface with operations and maintenance personnel to obtain funding for upcoming inspections - Recommend inspection interval changes based on inspection findings - Evaluate method of NDE used during inspections and make changes if necessary - Organize and communicate upcoming inspection requirements to facility managers - Manage small capital/expense MI projects (<$500K) - Complete and lead productivity projects to improve efficiency and eliminate waste - Develop tools and work processes to improve MI efficiency and effectiveness - Support MI KPI development and tracking - Work with inspection supervisor and mechanical integrity specialist to ensure KPIs are met - Support Management of Change process as it pertains to the mechanical integrity program - Participate in the identification of end of life items and make recommendations to managers Approximately 35% travel is required Qualifications: - 10+ Years of Inspection-Related Experience - API-510 Pressure Vessel Inspection Certification - API-570 Piping Inspection Certification Additional Preferred Requirements - Knowledgeable in OSHA Process Safety Management - Knowledge of API codes for stationary equipment - Knowledge of ASME BPVC - Experience with CGA codes - Experience Working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) (EAM preferred) - Experience with common forms of NDE - Experience working with inspection data management systems (OE Suite preferred) At Linde, we strive to create a work environment that treats all employees with respect, supports new thoughts and ideas, encourages growth and development, celebrates our differences, and embraces inclusion.
