Bose has an opportunity for a Co-op in Field Performance Management in the Global Quality Organization. This position will be resident in Framingham, Massachusetts. In this position, the Co-op will have the opportunity to drive and coordinate key initiatives related to field performance management in support of the Consumer Product Category Team environment. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the quality of Bose consumer products, while learning and working in an innovative and creative environment.

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process improvement efforts related to Field Performance issue management process and report presentations


• Facilitate data analysis in support of Field Performance issue understanding


• Coordinate product field returns that enable failure analysis activities


• Assist in failure analysis efforts on product field returns


• Process documentation in support of Field Performance Management


• Coordinate and facilitate team discussions related Field Performance team initiatives


• Assist in the management of the Product Safety Process

Successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

• Project management experience in cross-functional environments


• Experience with Project Planning tools


• Technical writing and documentation skills


• Working knowledge of 8D Structured Problem Solving, Six Sigma and Lean Principles


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Working knowledge of Quality Data and Quality Data systems


• Ability to independently manage complex tasks and assignments and lead them to completion
