Equipment Sales Specialist for Restaurants and Commercial Kitchens
We have an exciting opportunity based out of our Omaha NE, facility that will work with business in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa to design and/or upgrade their kitchens. In this role you can help customers increase kitchen efficiency and provide better products and services to their customers.
Summary: Work with customers from start to finish of their project, no matter how big or small. This includes identifying potential customers, assist with finding the foodservice equipment and supplies needed for their situation, working with job specs, assisting with design plans, developing bids and proposals, and keeping involved through implementation.
General Responsibilities:
Customer identification and prospect development
Work with sales teams on customers already within the CWD family, may include visiting our accounts when needed to assist in selling/design
Research and identify other prospects not currently being serviced by CWD with a special emphasis on government contracts, schools and multi-unit accounts.
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, management, accounting, logistics and installation/service departments.
Bid Development
Work with customers on understanding their objective to formulate a bid that maximizes their needs at an acceptable cost and profit margin.
Coordinate efforts with internal team members to assist in the bid process.
Project Oversight
Manage the activities of the project to oversee the process to ensure to all extents possible that it stays on time and on budget.
Work with CWD transportation teams for assisting with staging projects and delivering to job sites when needed.
Expedite resolutions to customer problems and complaints.
Ongoing
Stay abreast of product knowledge, applications and trends within the restaurant equipment industry/segment.
Attending SEFA Training Conferences and CWD designated company sales and training meetings, trade shows when required.
Continuously looking for efficiencies in the process and how to grow profit margins.
Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Experience & Qualifications:
Associate or advanced degree preferred
Experience in the foodservice industry preferred, and/or background in foodservice equipment sales.
Basic computer skills, including data entry, is required, strong Excel skills desired
Strong organizational skills required
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone and email required
Attention to detail is essential
Relationship building skills is essential
Travel:
Will require occasional travel with some overnight stays
