Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as an Industrial Manufacturing Engineer responsible for deploying Lean methods & concepts, leading 6-sigma project development, time-motion studies, and process layout optimization across manufacturing process within our high-speed automated assembly areas, molding fabrication group, and progressive metal stamping group.

What will you do?
Implement Schneider Production Standards to establish, maintain, and enhance the production equipment and processes with a focus on reducing downtime, improving quality, continuous improvement, and safety
Responsible for deploying Lean methodologies to improve safety, quality or productivity: which may include VSM (value stream mapping), SMED (single minute exchange of dies), 8-Wastes, Takt Time, Jidoka, PokaYoke, Kaizen, MTM (motion & time movements) LADM (Line Architecture Design Methodology), MPH (Material Providing & Handling) and Six Sigma
Conduct Time-motion studies and develop standardized work instructions to support Standard Time coordination
Develop & lead projects by applying 6-Sigma principles to conduct process flow analysis, improve process time, create cycle time definitions, improve 1st pass yield, reduce process variation, and improve process stability
Determine manufacturing process layout optimization
Responsible for monitoring efficiency indicators, KE, OEE, NEE, IE and to take actions to improve the efficiency and capacity of the line
Provide manufacturing engineering support for technologies that support Smart Factory (Indutry 4.0) deployment
Coordination of BOM and routings for the product lines
What qualifications will make you successful?
Prefer Industrial Engineering degree. Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering (or other STEM) major from an accredited University is required
2+ years Industrial Engineering experience in an automated industrial environment
Manufacturing process Layout optimization
Experience in Time-motion studies and standardized work
Hands-on experience with LEAN concepts (i.s. VSM, SMED, 8-Wastes, Takt Time, Jidoka, PokaYoke)
6-Sigma project development
Strong problem-solving skills
Pro-E / CREO / AutoCAD proficiency
