Job Description:

Job Summary

Provides project direction, advises team members, and leads the creative team responsible for overseeing design, development and production on all creative materials for the company, including print, digital, multimedia, and video projects for TriWest's websites, intranet, social media, print collateral, products, and additional communications programs. This role is responsible for ensuring all creative projects meet brand standards, are completed on time and within budget, and reinforce TriWest's mission and goals. Additionally, the Manager directs all company campaigns, manages corporate image and branding through development of advertisements, presentations, websites and online materials, social media, collateral materials and specialty products and manages TriWest's image at conferences and tradeshows.

Education & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's (BA/BS) Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience or equivalent combination of professional experience in web design and graphic design
• Demonstrated management and leadership skills of a creative and technical development team
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and XD) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Expertise in the creation and production of marketing, promotional and advertising materials
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
• High-level competency in Content Management Systems
• High-level competency in front-end programming languages of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery knowledge a plus)Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Preferred:

• Experience with a web development environment and connecting to web servers
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and version control code repositories such as Team Foundation (TFS), Git and AzureExperience with web accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG)
• Familiarity with C# programming language and .Net framework
• Familiarity with Figma
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira
• Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Manages a high volume of deadline-driven design and communications projects through the creative team (web, graphic, and video) ensuring that project and department goals and deadlines are met, and that the delivery of projects to clients are on time and within budget.
• Provides creative design, multimedia, web development and communications expertise to department leaders for internal and external communications.
• Oversees the team responsible for design and development of multiple websites, portals, and applications both for internal and external audiences.
• Supervises a diverse team of web designers, UI/UX designers, digital media specialists, front-end web developers and graphic designers performing creative and technical work in a deadline-driven work environment.
• Manages all creative support services including but not limited to branding and graphic design, website design and development, production and delivery, and video development and production.
• Serves as backup to director for branding and visual positioning subject matter expert (SME) for TriWest, ensuring consistency in style and messaging, for communications and marketing materials.

• Develops and optimizes internal process improvements to ensure successful project management, prioritization and coordination for marketing and creative projects and campaigns, and various strategic initiatives for key internal and external audiences.
• Regularly meets with team members to plan, manage and report on team's assignments; identify impediments, find solutions and accomplish goals; continually identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborates with Communications, Information Technology, external partners, vendors and other TriWest staff, to ensure function drives design. Works towards enhancing user experience and improving effectiveness of web self-service functions. Ensures accessibility is not an afterthought and included from the start of projects.
• Continuously audits web site for design and functionality issues and makes recommendations for enhancements to improve effectiveness. Participates in design testing to ensure compatibility and integration with TriWest systems.
• Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in design and technology.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Knowledge of web environments, technology and application development and skill in applying that knowledge; knowledge of web and graphic design principles and standards; skill in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and XD; skill in HTML, CSS and Javascript syntax; knowledge of social media channels and skill in leveraging those channels; knowledge of web development software Microsoft Visual Studio.
