ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate directly with customers, drivers and plant personnel to facilitate delivery of product
• Maintain productive and professional relationships with all employees
• Dispatch, track performance, and investigate overdue trucks in real time by monitoring demand, utilization, and capacity.
• Identify opportunities and make continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure all orders are filled out properly with the accurate materials ordered
• Ensure maximum efficiency of drivers and material delivery
• Maintain effective communication with drivers by two-way radio
• Utilize logistic software to dispatch orders in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate and communicate with Sales, Operations, and Quality Control teams
• Confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, or delayed product
• Document and record all customer complaints and problems in the log system
• Display proactive problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education: Associates/Bachelors Degree.

Licenses Required: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive an automobile.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Must have refined computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and the internet.

• Schedule flexibility including morning, evenings and rotating Saturdays
• Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to sit for long periods
• Additionally, you must be able to use common office tools and technology, such as cell/office telephone, calculator, and other electronic devices. Must be able to use computerized equipment and devices.
