Job Description:

This is a non-exempt position is responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled landscape tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

As a Small Engine Mechanic will be expected to possess basic knowledge of:
2 and 4 cycle hand held equipment Exmark, Laser, and Navigator riding mowers 21 Walk behind mowers John Deer Gators, small tractors, golf carts, and other small engine equipment
Responsibilities:
Safely and effectively using tools to repair equipment Performing diagnostics and repair of small engine equipment Selecting appropriate course of action for repairs Testing equipment once repairs are completed and verifying that all issues have been resolved Document all repairs Ensuring all work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner Performing road calls and emergency services as needed
REQIEMENTS
High School Diploma 3+ years working on small engine equipment Valid driver license, and clean motor vehicle record

SPECIAL NOTES:
Working Conditions: Work is predominately outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels. Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
