Parking Attendant at INTERNATIONAL MARINA GROUP LP in Cornelius, North Carolina

Job Description:

The Parking Attendant is responsible to protect property and personnel by patrolling the facility and acting as access control for visitors along with directing traffic. This role may also be referred to as Guard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greeting customers and assisting them with parking instructionsDirecting vehicles to available parking spaces and ensuring orderly parkingMonitoring the parking facility for any unauthorized or suspicious activityEnforcing parking regulationsAssisting customers with locating their vehicles and providing basic information about the marinaPerforming routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning parking areas and ensuring proper signageKeeping accurate records of parking transactions and reporting any discrepancies to managementMaintain a professional appearance, uniform and manner at all timesProvide customer service by making sure vehicles display proper permitsAvailability to work overtime when requiredOther duties as assigned by Manager

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area. Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious security experience preferredAbility to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shiftAbility to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the propertyMust have a valid Drivers LicenseAbility to work in all weather conditions
