Inventory Specialist - Accredo at Cigna in New Castle, Delaware

Job Description:

Join our team as an Inventory Representative and embark on a journey where precision meets efficiency. Your pivotal role ensures seamless operations within our inventory system, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Responsibilities:



  • Streamline Supplier Delivery Process: Process supplier delivery receipt information meticulously in our perpetual inventory system. Ensure all paperwork is meticulously organized and filed for easy retrieval.


  • Resolve Delivery Issues: Act as the liaison between the receiving department, purchasing team, and suppliers to promptly resolve any delivery discrepancies. Your proactive approach ensures a smooth flow of inventory.


  • Assist with Recalls: Extend your support in managing assigned recalls, showcasing your dedication to maintaining product integrity.

Key Duties:



  • Conduct Inventory Counts: Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts to maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory levels.


  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Skillfully input new inventory items into our systems and maintain accurate records using Safire, Excel Workbooks, and Cycle Count Program (RxH).


  • Variance Reconciliation: Identify and reconcile variances between vendor invoices/packing slips and physical inventory. Your attention to detail ensures discrepancies are swiftly addressed.


  • Optimize Storage: Organize and maintain dispensing and overstock areas for efficient storage and handling, collaborating with warehouse associates to ensure accurate labeling.


  • Software Management: Assist in setting up new items and resources in our software platforms as required, continually updating inventory descriptions for clarity and accuracy.


  • Reporting Support: Collaborate with Operations Managers/Supervisors to generate and analyze inventory reports, providing valuable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications:



  • Relevant Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in inventory management.


  • Tech Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access) is essential.


  • Analytical Skills: Ability to understand mathematical conversions and apply them effectively in inventory control practices.


  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy are paramount in this role.


  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and problem-solving.


  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to swiftly identify and resolve inventory-related issues, offering innovative solutions when needed.
