  • This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, blueprints, and governmental regulations. Ability to write business correspondence. Effectively present information in a one-on-one or small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratio, and percentage and apply basic Algebra fundamentals.

  • Ability to understand written or oral instructions that may be furnished in variety of forms. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations and carry forward to conclusion.


Experience :
  • Three-five years' experience in a similar position. Experience with MS Access, Excel, Word,

Equipment Used :
  • Mainframe Lot Trace System, Personnel Computer, and standard office equipment.

Job Summary: Organize and control all Tooling Systems. Coordinate and support all activities of Government, private and Howmet owned tooling.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities, not limited to:

Follow Howmet's Safety Regulations and Work Rules Handbook along with all departmental specific safety requirements.


  • Maintain all tooling records.

  • Maintain all tooling accounts.

  • Input and maintain tooling orders and receipts.

  • Set up and coordinator annual tooling inventory.

  • Coordinate customer requested inventories.

  • Coordinate tooling disposition for Howmet owned tooling and customer/government owned tooling.

  • Set up and maintain tool room work orders (TRWO) and internal x-orders.

  • Coordinate job transfers from facility to facility.

  • Monitor requests for storage at warehouse.

  • Provide customer compliance representative with tooling information used at overseas vendors.

  • Input, issue and maintain tooling releases.

  • Coordinate out-plant machining.

  • Provide support to customer service when requested.

  • Provide tooling insurance information to accounting.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.
