The Business Analyst III supports the operational and programmatic activities of the Program Management & Business Operations team in F5’s Security and Distributed Cloud organization. Our team is responsible for delivering key, strategic initiatives within SDC as well as supporting executive level operational support such as annual planning, quarterly performance and financial reviews, and financial forecasting.
The ideal candidate will be able to leverage analysis skills in a variety of business functions including finance, operations, process improvement, and project management. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, a strong communicator, and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment. They must be a self-starter who can work independently on multiple initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis and forecasting including annual planning, quarterly reporting, and variance analysis
Perform business analysis including problem identification, requirements and information gathering, and the documentation of options for decision making
Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings
Support execution of project and program management activities such as project plans building, collecting and updating status, stakeholder communications, risk identification and documentation, and management reporting
Perform market and competitive research to support SDC business analysis and comparisons
Administration and maintenance of core project and program documents and tools such as SharePoint and Smartsheet
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Financial acumen and understanding of public company dynamics
Well-versed in performance metrics and KPIs used in a SaaS and/or subscription business model
Understanding of SaaS business operations with a working knowledge of financial reporting
Strong project and task management skills
Ability to apply structured thinking to ambiguous and complex problems
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in business or financial analysis with a preference for experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or other technology focused company
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information technology, related field or equivalent experience

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $96,104.00 - $144,156.00

The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
