Day in the Life:
We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager who will be accountable for programmatic management of HealthCast strategic program initiatives.
This can include;
Product level program management, commercial program management, cross product / technical site program management and or external partnerships to deliver a product
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
Program Management
Responsible for prioritizing and budgeting strategic initiatives while managing dependencies between projects
Driving alignment across the program and product management core teams
Delivering a program that meets customer needs, business needs and market needs on time, budget, and scope
Provide necessary leadership including Program/ project interdependency analysis
Develop, communicate, and document project strategies and plans including budget, detailed schedule creation/maintenance, KPIs
Provides input to establishing program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets.
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams, commercial teams, customers, and external partners depending on the program
Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
Ensure projects remain aligned with the project plan by addressing any resource conflicts and addressing problems as they emerge. Facilitate project team meetings; prepare agenda, facilitate discussion during meeting, take and distribute meeting minutes
Track spending associated to project. Provide monthly forecasts on upcoming spending
Forecast resource and skill set needs for the project and participate in resourcing discussions/negotiation
Process and Skills
Identify improvements to existing project management processes, systems, and tools
Collaborate with other department employees to facilitate process improvements
Develop the Project Management skills of others, especially team members. Provide tactical and/or operational leadership and coaching
Establish plans and implements policies and strategies. Decisions impact program schedules, or allocation of time, material resources, expenditures and funds
Market and Customer Awareness
Interacting frequently with customers, KOLs, societies, academic institutions in the development of programs/products
Ability to achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively across a matrix organization, including scoping, and managing projects with cross-business unit teams, external partners, suppliers and other vendors
Program Management Career Stream
Program Managers focus on tactical, operational activities for a major program with broad or ongoing impact. Levels within the program management career stream typically accomplish program objectives through matrixed employee teams and / or vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead. Most of the time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing program/team performance, communicating project and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of program team members. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of program team members.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Medical Device industry experience- knowledge of new product development, DRM, clinical trial management, quality systems, global regulatory experience.
Experience developing solutions for clinicians.
Advanced degree such as MS, MBA, with strong financial acumen
Extensive experience leading a complex project/program including financial accountability including strong preference for PMP certification.
Prior experience managing large/complex site to site transfer projects in a manufacturing environment.
Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives simultaneously.
Knowledgeable of U.S. Food and Drug Law and WW regulatory, device safety and/or regulatory/clinical research.
