Controls Engineer - Weekends at Schneider Electric USA, Inc in Oxford, Ohio

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Controls Engineer - Weekend Shift at our Oxford, OH location. Weekend Shift is Thursday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.

What will you do?


  • Create automated equipment/machine specifications which includes end of line test equipment

  • Work with external suppliers to design and deploy assembly lines, including automated equipment

  • Develop, deploy, and debug PLC and HMI programs for automated equipment

  • Integrate machines and assembly lines into MIS and plants' digital manufacturing execution systems


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience with PLC programming

  • 1+ year of experience in automation industry

  • Experience in assembly line equipment design and deployment preferred
