Senior Stockroom Supervisor

Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Senior Stockroom Supervisor who is primarily responsible for the success of assigned functions within Thales IFEC and the Distribution Center. Our Sr. Stockroom Supervisor is also responsible for site success through lean distribution/manufacturing, proper team management, and best-in-class warehouse management strategies. Specific duties include supervising of Inbound Operations (Unloading and Receiving), Warehouse Operations (Pick-Pack-Pull, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Management), and Outbound/Transportation Operations (Shipping, Carrier Relations).

In this position you will also work directly with the Director of Operations to develop effective strategies and relevant objectives that increase productivity and control expenses within the Distribution Center and, supervise 10 - 15 warehouse personnel (directly & indirectly) consisting of Material Handlers, Stockroom Clerks, and Data Analysts.

Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Supervise day-to-day operations of The Distribution Center which includes:  Unloading and Receiving of LTL and Small Parcel Carriers, Order Fulfillment (Customer & Internal Demand), Pick-Pack-Pull Operations, Inventory Control & Putaway Strategies, Shipping Optimization and Processing Efficiency.

  • Maintain on-time delivery to OEM’s and airlines, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity are upheld.

  • Create export documentation in accordance and compliance with US regulations, and oversee the process for the Centralized Discrepant Material Area (CDMA).

  • Development of continuous process improvement plans and initiatives, create cross functional synergy between departments (QA, Supply Chain, Facilities, Safety, etc.), create and sustain a culture to support lean initiatives and promote lean values.

  • Maintain operational plans to support customer shipments and production needs (will occasionally involve working some Saturdays and Sundays).

  • Understand revenue goals and timelines and develop appropriate plans.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 5-8 years’ experience managing warehouse operations (cycle counts, continuous improvement, inventory management, personnel management training, development, & discipline).

  • Experience working with export declarations and freight forwarders.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint (prepare & maintain graphs, charts, presentations, KPIs).

  • Excellent communication skills (has to be well spoken and able to deliver critical information/presentations to various levels of management).

  • Proven track record of being able to operate independently.

  • Bilingual language skills (English & Spanish) is preferred, but not required.

Special Position Requirements



  • Schedule: Core Business Hours Monday-Friday and will occasionally involve working some Saturdays and Sundays.


  • Physical Environment: Primary work environment is the production line and warehouse areas.


  • Physical Demands: Warehouse environment, walking and standing regularly, and also moving inventory within the warehouse on a periodic basis. May be required to lift light items under 25 lbs, and/or use special equipment (e.g., forklift) to move heavier items. No special vision requirements.


  • Travel: Very limited travel potentially to other Thales manufacturing sites within the USA.


  • Regulatory Compliance Requirements: None.

What We Offer

The anticipated TTC range for this role is $73,264.00 - $154,700.00 USD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
