Job Overview:
The Entry-Level IT Specialist & Merch Store Operator will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal team and managing the day-to-day operations of our Pella Merch physical store. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for IT and employee interaction to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

IT Support:

Provide 1st tier technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Collaborate with third-party vendors for IT-related services and solutions.
Maintain company asset database and keep equipment updated based on age/reliability
Troubleshoot office equipment issues, including but not limited to, computers, laptops, printers, Voip phones, cell phones, speakers, monitors, scanners, etc.

Merch Store Management:

Manage the day-to-day operations of our Pella Merch, including inventory management and employee payments.
Ensure the accuracy of product listings and pricing
Monitor sales and adjust merch purchases to fit the needs and wants of our employees
Coordinate with suppliers and shipping partners to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
Keep Merch Store clean and well stocked
Manage cash payments and documentation
Communicate non-cash purchases with the payroll department

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and customer information.
Educate employees on the importance of virus/malware protection, avoiding phishing scams, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in a related IT field preferred.
Experience with Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
We are not looking for a top tier IT position. Can you put together a work station? Can you set up a new laptop? Can you help troubleshoot why a printer is jammed or replace a monitor that goes out? Can you set up a new android or iphone device? Then you are who we are looking for!

Professional Skills:
Must present a clean and neat physical appearance and strictly abide by company dress code serving as a role model for other employees, customer and visitors.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

Schedule/Work Details:

Full Time
Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch
Work Location: In person, Maumelle AR
Some travel may be required, mileage paid at federal rate

Pay Details:

Hourly pay, Overtime paid at 1.5x regular rate
$18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
