Responsibilities:


  • Develop item-level and the aggregate forecasts for product planning groups

  • Perform analysis of historical selling patterns and leading indicators to predict sales volumes that drive supply chain decisions and influence supply and production

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and react to changes in trends based on current sales and pipeline information

  • Present item level forecasts, demand analysis, performance to company financial objectives to senior leadership, providing insight on demand, supply, customer insights, and trends

  • Set, balance, and optimize goals for inventory targets, customer service levels, forecast accuracy, and safety stock requirements at the item/SKU level across multiple sites

  • Use exception-based analysis and forecast value-add to improve forecast accuracy

  • Develop standard reports and leverage use of data visualizations in Power BI to transform tables into easy to digest charts and dashboards for presentation

Education: 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in assortment or item level demand planning, forecasting, and/or inventory planning

Qualification:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

  • Experience working with ERP, MPR, forecasting, production planning & scheduling software systems preferred (e.g. ForecastX, Microsoft Dynamics D365).

  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on analytics

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior-level leaders

  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners

  • Desire and curiosity to learn

Work experience in related industry is an asset but even if you do not have this, we still want you to apply. On the job training will be provided.
