A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
• Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
• Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
• Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
• Measures performance against process requirements.
• Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
• May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
• Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
• Communicates team progress.
• Performs cost and benefit analyses.
• Responsible for evaluating and designing, developing, or modifying programs for site related to metrics and visual management.
• Analyze existing programs and/or formulate logic for new systems.
• Recommended changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
• Train users in system enhancements and modifications.
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation for program support.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Works closely with functional users to enhance and maintain programs.
• Pro ficient in MS Excel.
• Unders tanding of raw data transformation to report.
• Drive to improve current state, taking into consideration stakeholders' necessities and requirements.
• Ability t o set up digital visualization infrastructure (TV and PC).
• Ac quainted with current Medtronic software's & processes: Factory Works, Pentaho, SAP, Enablon, Power BI, MS Teams & Smartsheet.
• P rogramming skills.
• Develops , implements, and sustains process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma methodologies.
• Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies.
• De velops solutions to unique issues Improves upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

• Knowledge and experience: Excel, Power Point, Visio, CAD, MS Project, Minitab, Statistical and Process Improvement Tools, Share Point, Power Automate, Data Base, Power BI & Dashboard configurations.
• Green Belt Certification
