A Day in the Life

Shift: Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Thursday & Friday 5pm-5am

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 5pm-5am

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Provides technical support to engineers to achieve improvements in cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance of production and operations processes and products.
  • Monitors instruments and equipment and collects operating data, including calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities, to assist in making on-line adjustments to instruments, equipment, or products.
  • Analyzes and resolves malfunctions and deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems.
  • Conducts, analyses and prepares reports using metrics from salvage tracking, trending, reporting and root-cause analyses.
  • Maintains process designs to optimize process, equipment and facility use while conforming to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, Pneumatic, Vision System and PLC.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots , adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Performs preventive maintenance (PM).
  • Ordering spare parts identified in order to keep the equipment up and running.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Participate in improvement teams or assist with special projects .
  • Work consist of technical tasks that are typically not routine, and situations frequently arise where independent thinking, initiative, and analysis, beyond that documented, are warranted.
  • Perform analysis/ investigation of manufacturing product using requirement or specifications of the product
  • Execute any task of validations to implement the equipment or component to manufacture.
  • Provide support and be able to respond the priority request as need it.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Minimum of 15 years of experience of relevant and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have

  • BS Electronics
  • Previous experience and exposure working in Pharma/Medical Devices manufacture environment.
  • Previous repair/analyst and troubleshooting work experience
  • Computer Literate (Words, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High mechanical and electrical skills. Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatics and electro-pneumatics, Vision Systems, Robotic, mechanical and PLC Controlled Systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting semi and fully automated systems including test, assembly and other process equipment
  • Experience using SolidWorks to re-design a component
  • Experience in Validation process
  • Experience using instruments such as oscilloscope, power supplies, digital multi meters, tools, etc.
  • Teamwork
