Operational Excellence Analyst at Tekni-plex in Wayne, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

The Operational Excellence Analyst will respond to and fulfill data requests as well as contributing to and creating department presentations. This includes applying analytical skills and business acumen across a diverse range of tasks, supporting the Operational Excellence group.  The role reports to the VP of Operational Excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect data, analyze, and report on data to drive informed decision-making


• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced finance environment.


• Enhance and maintain the data collection system, ensuring accuracy in tracking improvement savings


• Conduct detailed analyses on savings across various business segments, regions, and types


• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations tailored to both business and executive audiences


• Collaborate with business teams to ensure data integrity and facilitate accurate reporting


• Partner with finance to align reported savings with tangible business results

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years’ experience within a manufacturing or industrial organization, consulting experience a plus


• Fluency in English required, proficiency in Spanish preferred.


• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics; MBA Preferred


• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical techniques and presentation development.


• Experience preparing communications and engaging with stakeholders at all levels specifically senior company representatives


• Proven capability in generating business and executive-level presentations rooted in data analysis.


• Ability to communicate how you have effectively solved problems in current and past roles and apply those lessons learned to new opportunities.


• Experience navigating within a global organization.


• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.  The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and infrequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Duties will be primarily based in normal office environment.  Most of the job will be performed in a normal office environment with little or no exposure to adverse working conditions.  An infrequent amount of time may be required on the production floor interfacing with key stakeholders to identify/resolve issues and/or develop solutions.  Travel may include tours, observations and/or troubleshooting in the company’s and/or customer’s production environments.  Travel may require overnight stays.
