Sparklight, a member of the Cable One family of brands, is growing our Residential Sales Team of Web Chat Sales Representative s . Work from the comfort of your home! This role is 100% remote and will start on May 6th. Saturdays are required. Full-time or part-time roles are available! Join Sparklight's Residential Sales Team as Web Chat Sales Representative and unlock your sales potential! In this role, you will connect with residential customers and show them the value that switching to Sparklight's broadband, phone, and cable services can bring.

We are open to hiring in any of the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NM, OR, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success


  • Gains familiarity with Web / Chat sales concepts, practices and methodologies.

  • With guidance, performs routine Web / Chat sales duties, including:

  • Monitoring inbound web-based sales orders and ensuring their prompt and accurate processing,

  • Calling pending leads, engaging with potential customers to understand their needs and provide information about products, services, pricing and benefits,

  • Reviewing, adding or deleting comments necessary to successfully process sales orders,

  • Meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly sales activity goals.

  • Learns and applies sound telephone-based selling skills.

  • Adheres to company approved and issued scripts to ensure consistency or information delivered.

  • Assists with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training in a customer service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills while assisting and interacting with Sparklight customers and associates.

  • Strong data entry and computer skills.

  • Requires the ability to operate office equipment (copiers, phones, computers, etc.).

  • Requires efficient and accurate handling of money.

  • The position requires the ability to learn and stay informed of products and services offered by Sparklight.
