Job Summary

Responsible for providing business performance analysis, reporting and forecasting. Provides a variety of financial data; maintains and updates financial models and plans. Provides financial analysis and projections to all levels within the organization in support of functional business objectives. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.
This role's primarily responsibility will be around Strategic Pricing, but It also includes (on an as needed basis) partnering with the Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance to execute Finance process infrastructure initiatives. This role reports into the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance. Main job responsibilities include performing pricing analysis responsibilities surrounding new initiatives that fall within FreeWheel's Product Launch process framework . This includes ad-hoc requests and the ongoing monitoring of past pricing guidance.
The Commercial Finance Senior Analyst will report into the Commercial Finance team (within the larger Revenue Finance team) and will work closely with Strategy, Legal, Revenue Operations, Product, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Finance, Finance Operations, and other stakeholders by communicating pricing guidance, reporting impact, and assisting with recommending potential pricing initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.


• Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.


• Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.


• Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly and annual reports.


• Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department member on special projects or on an as-needed basis.


• Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.


• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.


• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.


• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $84,003.75 - $126,005.62

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
