About the Team
The IT Service Management and Operations team is responsible for defining, developing and maintaining critical capabilities associated with effective running of internal IT services. This team has responsibility for ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence and related capabilities to effectively enable agile development and support effective IT Operations.About the Role
Responsibilities:
Champion ITSM and automation capabilities partnering with other IT and business teams such as End User Services, HR, Legal, Sales, Finance and real estate.
Lead a team of skilled engineers, analysts and configuration experts harnessing the collective power of an impactful team.
Own, define, reassess and refine process and capabilities to continue to keep pace with growth and ensure scale.
Develop and deliver against strategic roadmap and architectural blueprints associated with ITSM
Partner with compliance, legal, SOX and audit teams to track, report and ensure compliance metrics for critical business operations
Lead sophisticated cross functional efforts to transform operations and drive automation leveraging innovative technologies including AI to drive efficiency and realize significant cost savings
Coach, mentor team to realize their best performance and grow in their roles and career within Workday
Be responsible for key ITSM metrics and provide transparency and metrics reporting around progress
Handle vendor engagement and budget management to deliver capabilities in an optimized manner
About You
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of leadership experience leading IT Service Management capabilities ( such as End User Services, HR, Legal, Sales, Finance and real estate ).
8 + years of experience in leading globally distributed teams that supports a 24x7 operations model.
15+ years of technical experience in IT Software development and operations.
Other Qualifications:
You have extensive experience with ITSM, Service Now and Atlassian suite Platform.
ITIL certification is helpful.
Have demonstrated ability to develop, gain alignment to roadmap and implement in a cross functional matrix organization
Experience with large global organizations with a strong technology focus is helpful.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization.
Product management certification is desirable.
