Jeans Innovation Center LLC, Gardena, CA seeks Production Management Specialist. Rsrch & dvlp denim material by coordinating w/ fabric factories in Turkey, China, & Japan. Intl trvl req 4-5 times per year. Bachelor's deg or equiv in Sply Chain Mgmt, Industrial Engg, Industrial Tech or rltd field. 3 yrs of exp in garment ( incl denim) mrchndising, garment ( incl denim) prod, or rltd occupation in retail biz. Skills req: Demonstrated knowl of denim washing technique dvlpmnt; Demonstrated knowl of new materials & product rsrch & dvlpmnt for denim & non-denim prdcts; Exp analyzing cost, capacity, & lead time at prod factories; Exp leading the product dvlpmnt process btwn the dsgnr, fabric mill & prod factory; Exp planning & executing rsrch & dvlpmnt process; Demonstrated knowl of coordination of patent rltd activities; Demonstrated knowl of garment washing machine & garment chem; Exp providing instructions & guidance on sustainable washing techs; Exp in rsrch & dvlpmnt of sustainable materials & implem in prod; Exp implmntg garment washing techniques; Guidance & implem of garment prod & qlty sys.
