JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Production Supervisor role at Jabil ensures the effectiveness of Production Supervisors and Supervisors in Training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate data and audit processes to support plant success.


• Set expectations and guide Production Supervisors to achieve continuous improvement while maintaining profitability and efficiency in production.


• Provide exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.


• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.


• Assess the adequacy of data-gathering methods within work cells.


• Ensure efficiency and non-redundancy in procedures and work instructions.


• Offer innovative ideas and suggestions for improvement, implementing "best in field" practices.


• Demonstrate commitment to customer service by promptly and effectively solving problems.


• Establish new measurement systems as needed.


• Share knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to promote best practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong understanding of global and regional logistics operations and industry.


• Proficiency in determining logistics requirements to align with company goals and objectives, and ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve targets.


• Strong financial and analytical skills, including managing business analytics to optimize company footprint.


• Knowledgeable about international direct and indirect taxes and global customs regimes.


• Proven track record in successful change management, implementing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.


• Effective communication skills.


• Proficient in personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and email.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.


• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.


• Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
