In order to preserve the image set forth by the Company, the Building and Grounds Maintenance person will strive to keep the Company’s building and grounds neat and clean.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain heating operation and air conditioner
Mow and trim grass, and shovel snow
Replace light bulbs, repair lights and outlets, and minor building repairs
Clean lighting fixtures and building trim
Dust furniture and equipment
Wash walls, ceilings and woodwork
Wash windows, door panels and sills
Empty wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
Transport trash, scrap metal and waste to disposal area
Replenish bathroom supplies
Transfer trucks
Deliver parts when needed
Transports small equipment or tools between departments
Personal Requirements:
The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
Able to communicate information and ideas in writing or verbally so others will understand
Give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
Be able to perform basic math
Interact well with managers, customers, and the general public
Ability to operate or learn to operate a loader, tractor, and other equipment
Valid drivers license--CDL preferred

Daily operation of a computer and other office machines (i.e. calculator, copy machine, and computer printers)
Daily work in all kinds of weather out of doors as needed
Employee will lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Daily noise level is usually moderate
Daily exposure to moving mechanical parts
Daily will sit, stand, walk, stoop, crawl, kneel, climb, balance, reach, handle, finger, feel, talk, hear, and see
Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
Education/Training or Experience:
High School graduate or GED required
Intermediate to advanced computer skills preferred
Experience in heating operations and air conditioner preferred
