Job Description:

What will you do?

• Identifying, driving, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities within the group.


• Having ownership of group performance goals and objectives.


• Leading appropriate SIM (short interval management) cycles within the Schneider Production System.


• Analyzing and evaluating problems with inventory, delivery, and/or sales orders. Providing periodic reports and updates to management.


• Organizing and assigning work to ensure it is completed in accordance with internally established procedures, good management practices, quality and safety.


• Develop/update standard operating procedures in the Quality Management System


• Providing direction and management of the plant cycle counting program


• Assisting with other materials department initiatives such as: i nventory/replenishment strategy analysis and reduction opportunities

• Bachelors degree required


• 3 years minimum experience in a supervision role.


• Strong working knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Access, etc)


• SAP experience a plus


• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and application preferred.


• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
