• Shift:  AM/PM - Various. Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing?

 

As a Butcher, you would be responsible for preparing throughout the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

 

• Oversees the operation of the meat-cutting kitchen, including boning, cutting, and filleting of all meat, foul and seafood.


• Ensures proper storage and trains assistants. 


• Smoking of items such as chicken, beef, pork, and fish.


• Wrap and label finished products with proper food safety labels, noting which outlet the items are designated for.


• Maintain refrigeration temperature logs, proper food storage and rotation.

What are we looking for?

 

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent required

 

EXPERIENCE

1 year previous meat cutting/butcher experience required.

 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.

 

GROOMING

All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
