Position: Assistant/Intern Teacher

Duration: 191 Workdays

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Community Leadership Academy (PK-5) and Victory Preparatory Academy (6-12) are dedicated to providing a superior level of academic education to all students. We invite Assistant/Intern Teachers to join us in this mission, collaborating with classroom teachers to offer interventions and co-teaching experiences. This role not only enriches student learning but also serves as a pathway for aspiring educators to explore a career in education.

Job Overview:

• Collaborate under the guidance of classroom teachers and administrators

• Assist in planning and delivering lessons

• Provide support to students individually or in small groups

• Assist in the creation and distribution of instructional materials

• Participate in grading student work

• Supervise students during pre and post-school activities, as well as recess periods
