Salary: $52,500.00 bachelor’s - $55,500 master’s

We are looking for passionate individuals dedicated to early childhood education to join Community Leadership Academy's Pre-K program as a Lead Teacher. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing young learners for kindergarten while nurturing their love for learning.

At Community Leadership Academy's Pre-K program, we offer parents a high-quality choice in early childhood education. Our curriculum, based on the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence, ensures that every four-year-old Pre-kindergarten student receives a nurturing, creative, explorative, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. In addition to fostering early phonological awareness and social integration, you will help children develop essential skills for a successful transition to kindergarten. Job Overview:

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for:

•  Providing guidance, education, and support to Pre-kindergarten students, ensuring their well-being and fostering their development.


•  Preparation of instructional materials


•  Maintaining a clean and well-organized classroom environment


•  Compliance with CDHS regulations, licensing application/renewal, and coordination of advisory council meetings


•  Improving and expanding UPK programming and maintaining Colorado Shines accreditation


•  Providing/ensuring staff receive required yearly trainings


•  Managing and implementing Teaching Strategies Gold

Requirements/Qualifications:

•  ECE Teacher qualification as required by CDE and/or a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA), an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development, or a Child Care Professional Credential (CCP)


•  Current CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days)


•  Strong organizational, planning, and implementation skills


•  Experience or knowledge of Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence and Spalding phonics preferred


•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook


•  Ability to work effectively with colleagues, follow complex instructions, and maintain a positive attitude
