Senior Accountant - Belgrade, MT at Ground Force in Belgrade, Montana

Job Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  1. Month-end close, including, but not limited to: general journal entries, amortization and depreciation schedules, accruals and reconciliations, revenue recognition, inventory, cost of goods sold, and work-in-process adjustments, all in accordance with US GAAP. 

  2. Ad hoc reporting, intercompany accounting, and standard costing.   Assist Controller with budgeting, domestic and international banking, foreign exchange, tax compliance and planning, insurance policy management, and international regulatory compliance.

  3. Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned.  Backup for AR and AP processing.


Position Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other relevant field

  • Minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible and relevant experience required experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Able to design organized, neat, and professional presentations, and other reports.

  • Detail oriented and well organized; able to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Communicate clearly, concisely, tactfully, and professionally both verbally and in writing.

  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Internally motivated and able to work independently, able to define problems and propose solutions.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Experience in Epicor ERP would be a plus.
