Job Title: Black Belt - Business Transformation

Department: Finance

FLSA: Exempt

Position Overview:
This role is a key member of the Business Process Transformation team tasked with partnering with the functional leadership to enable scalability through standardization, simplification and digitalization of processes. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Process Transformation and will focus on the following: Lead cross functional teams through documenting end-to-end processes across Insulet . Responsible for ensuring improvements are properly completed and aligned to achieving functional and corporate objectives. Accountable for establishing and baselining KPI's and creating tiered accountability to for frequent review of KPI's for action and escalation.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Process: Work cross-functionally to document and streamline current and future state end-to-end processes across the Insulet.


• Shared Service: Facilitate end-to-end process standardization and simplification workshops to ensure processes are robust for transition into shared Shared Service Center, where necessary including appropriate internal control structure.


• Identify opportunities to digitalize processes through RPA and enable scalability.


• Continuous Improvement: Approach all aspects of the role with a continuous improvement framework. Deploy Insulet's Lean Business System across the organization through training, coaching and mentoring.


• Partner with GPOs to identify and baseline KPIs.


• Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple global projects at one time, while staying on time, on budget and maintaining scope.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Human Resources or IT


• 5-7 years of as Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, preferably in the Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical Industry, focused on business process improvement and/or business transformation work.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with a global growth-oriented manufacturing company with commercial and manufacturing operations across numerous geographies and currencies.


• Ability to work in a complex global environment.


• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently.


• Minimum 5 years in business process design and re-engineering.


• Capable of navigating, influencing and communicating with top leaders across the organization.


• Experience in developing and conducting Lean Six Sigma training.


• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.


• Adept in identifying and baselining KPIs, including leading measures, and through partnering with GPOs establishing process performance targets and goals.

• Able to effectively manage projects; results oriented and able to roll-up the sleeves to accomplish necessary tasks.


• Has highest standards of integrity reflected in all external and internal communications


• Self-motivated, high energy, respectful, honest, hard-working and loyal

Physical Requirements:

• General office environment, may sit for long periods of time.


• Domestic and international travel may be required up to 25% of the time

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,900.00 - $151,600.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
