Global Logistics Solutions Leader (New Health Care Company)

3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin - off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Global Logistics Solutions Leader you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Develop and deliver against a multi-year strategy for Global Logistics solutions (GTM, TMS, WMS) and manage project timeline that captures all workstreams required to launch GTM, TMS, WMS, and ERP changes to support the global logistics organization.


• This position will be responsible for conducting analytical assessments of the current supply chain processes, systems, and operations, with a particular focus on optimization to identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, standardization, and scalability.

• Coordinate team efforts (internal & external), communications to senior leadership, and setting clear prioritization and objectives, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for systems design (covering people, process, and technology).


• Stay current with the latest technology developments and best practices, specifically Artificial Intelligence. Lead large scale transformational projects that will significantly impact the performance of our supply chain. Facilitate the on-boarding of new Global Logistics digital platforms and tools and partner with IT to ensure integrations and development meet SCJ standards.


• Produce functional specification documents with technical details to direct development efforts and facilitate knowledge transfer between business and IT partners. Oversee system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of the implemented solution.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND ten (7-10) years of experience in combination of engineering, logistics, project management, supply chain or business discipline education and work experience.

• High School Diploma/GED from AND fourteen (10-14) years of experience in combination of engineering, logistics, project management, supply chain or business discipline education and work experience.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Strong working knowledge of global trade management solutions, transportation management solutions, warehouse management solutions, and ERP systems (preferably SAP)


• Excellent verbal/written communications skills; strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills


• Project Leadership- Effective change leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with peers and branch personnel and Sr. Leaders.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Expert in design, build, and monitoring of SAP configurations and integrations across multiple systems.


• Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to root-cause problems and quickly articulate creative, practical solutions.


• Ability to multi-task effectively and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without close guidance or supervision.


• Interface with business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
