As a Software Engineer, you will be part of Finance Accounts Payable team responsible for paying billions of dollars a year to Walmart's Suppliers timely, accurately, and efficiently.

In Walmart Global Tech, our Enterprise Business Services (EBS) organization is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience. What you'll do:

• 
  As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for modernizing the Accounts payable applications from mainframe applications to cloud platform (Azure/GCP).
  
  
  


• 
  You will use event driven and microservices powered to interact with SQL and No-SQL Databases to achieve the goal of paying the Walmart's Suppliers timely, accurately, and efficiently with zero manual intervention.
  
  
  


• 
  You will be part of the application development team in software design and implementation, upholding our architectural patterns, design patterns, coding standards, quality principles, and customer focus.
  
  
  

What you'll bring:

• 
  Solid experience in Java/J2EE/Spring Boot and React/Redux technologies.
  
  
  


• 
  SQL and no-SQL Databases such as DB2, MS SQL, Cosmos DB, AZURE SQL, Google BigQuery
  
  
  


• 
  Demonstrated experience with design and testing patterns.
  
  
  


• 
  Exposure to Kafka or other high volume, low latency messaging infrastructure
  
  
  


• 
  Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful Microservices
  
  
  


• 
  Practical exposure to Agile Methodologies
  
  
  


• 
  Good understanding of CI/CD
  
  
  


• 
  Good experience with any public cloud platforms and cloud native services
  
  
  


• 
  Ability to perform in a team environment and ready to take ownership.
  
  
  


•
