Job Description:

Position: Forklift Operator – Full-Time Employment!

Forklift Type: must have recent stand-up forklift experience!

Pay: $21.50/hr+ $1 shift premium and pay rate increases every 6 months! Opportunity for overtime as well!

Shifts: 3:00pm – 11:30pm (Monday - Friday with possibility of Saturday)

Our San Antonio, Texas distribution center charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 1995, now employ more than 265 people, and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through Toys for Tots, The Strong Foundation and Soldier’s Angels.

Primary Duties:

• As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials at the lines.


• The Forklift Operator is responsible for staging each production line with the proper materials.


• Verify quantities received and perform incoming inspections.


• Load finished products on trucks that are ready to be shipped to customers.


• Responsible for moving finished products, raw materials, and part to different locations in the plant.


• Perform daily production cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred not required.


• 1+ year(s) of Stand-Up Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.  


• Must be able to perform basic math functions.


• Must be able to pass a forklift operating test.


• Must be comfortable working in a hot environment.


• Comfortable with work overtime as needed along with potential working weekends.
