Job Summary

The Office is currently seeking an attorney to represent the Office and state agencies in transactional matters. The focus of the position will be on: (1) advising clients on state contracting statutes; (2) negotiating, reviewing, and drafting contracts for the Office and agency clients; (3) overseeing the work of outside counsel on the issuance of state bonds; (4) general advice to agency clients on statutory and administrative rules issues. This position may also provide advice to agency clients on trademark and copyright issues.
The attorney will practice within a cohort of attorneys housed in the Environmental and Natural Resources Division of the Office. The transactional cohort has a very diverse practice, with no close analog in private practice. The Division seeks attorneys who can excel at practicing in new areas.
This position is eligible for hybrid work environment.
Minimum Qualifications

To be considered at the S2 level, candidates must have 6 years of related experience. To be considered at the S3 level, candidates must have 12 years of related experience.
