Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Floor Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Floor Nurse plays a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Floor Nurse, you will work closely with residents and their families to ensure their health, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident Care:
Provide direct nursing care to residents based on their individual care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor residents' vital signs and assess their overall health regularly.Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.Document and maintain accurate records of residents' conditions and care provided.
Health Assessments:

Conduct health assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans.Identify any changes in residents' health and report concerns to the Director of Nursing.Implement and adjust care plans as necessary to meet residents' changing needs.
Family Communication:

Communicate effectively with residents' families, providing updates on their loved ones' health and well-being.Address any questions or concerns from residents and their families with empathy and professionalism.
Safety and Infection Control:
Follow all safety protocols and infection control practices to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.Participate in emergency response and evacuation procedures as required.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including Certified Nursing Assistants, physicians, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
Current and valid state nursing license (RN or LPN, as required by state regulations).Experience in long-term care or senior living preferred but not required.Strong clinical and assessment skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Compassion, patience, and a dedication to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing senior living communities is a plus.
