Job Description:

Position Summary: To effectively lead our production employees we are looking for a Hairpins lead. To develop and standardize how the automation is maintained and operated. This structure will be used to improve the capability of our plant in terms of output, percent to standard, scrap, training, and all other aspects of the department.
Major Responsibilities:
Works to continue the development of our total productivity at the Hopkinsville plant. Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies to drive operational efficiency and productivity. Ensures that all employees in department know and comply with the Brazeway Quality Plan and 5S + Safety Program. Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas for automation and optimization. Responsible for orderliness, including housekeeping, condition of tools, effective changeover procedures. Develop standards, best practices, and guidelines for automation development and implementation. Monitor and analyze automation performance metrics to track the effectiveness of implemented solutions and identify areas for improvement. Provides employees with training, and assistance with non-routine problems which may affect their quality or productivity.

What a candidate must have to be qualified for the role:
Proven experience in operating and training on HP automation prject or intiatives at BK. Strong understanding of automation concepts, methodologies, and tools. Leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication and computer skills A strong work ethic and a strong commitment to a team environment
