Data Analyst (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SQL views from existing tables to support data analysis and reporting needs.
Work closely with the data team and request data needed from source systems.
Design and build engaging and informative reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet business requirements.
Working with team to make adjustments to reports as requested by business leaders
Collaborate with data providers to ensure that necessary data is accurate, available, and optimally structured for analysis and reporting.
Provide technical support to team members and stakeholders regarding data queries and Power BI reports.
Create and maintain Power BI data models

Examples of Day-to-Day Activities You Might Do:

Meet with technology team on a regular basis over Microsoft Teams or Zoom to review current projects and upcoming reporting needs of the business
Create SQL views from existing SQL tables, provide feedback on additional data points that may be needed to create desired reports
Perform troubleshooting on reporting discrepancies to help determine where the breakdown is in the data pipeline, and work with the team to resolve
Build Power BI reports from scratch, that include multiple pages, summary views, and ability to drill-through to detail views
Update and convert existing Power BI reports to use newer data sources
