The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing in an evolving fast paced environment.
Tasks Performed:
Process payroll in ADP Workforce Now with integration from Oracle HCM
Complete nonintegrated payroll fields for new hires and send out Welcome email for ADP registration
Review and approve Employee Self Service in ADP of direct deposit and tax updates
Understand garnishment and support orders and complete as necessary
Calculate gross ups, off cycle checks and retroactive pay
Verify absence management in Oracle HCM for final pay calculations
Collaborate with Benefits for Leave of Absence payments
Review employees work location for proper state and local taxation
Monitor daily ADP Data Bridge feeds from external systems for errors to research and update as necessary
Review payroll audit and preview reports for accuracy and resolve any issues in a timely manner before payroll transmission
Manage timekeeping in Hosted ADP eTime
Work with managers for timekeeping questions and approvals
Maintain records for accurate payroll and SOX Compliance
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding tax filings and reporting
Provide reports to benefits and finance after payroll is completed
Providing information and answering questions about payroll related matters for managers and employees
Work with external partners in gathering information for audits and government mandated reporting
Work with HR, accounting, and finance to ensure accurate employee data
Prepare for year-end including auditing records and W2 issuance
Strict adherence to internal company policies
Education:
Minimum high school diploma or GED, and Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) required.
Experience:
3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience for 500 or more employees
Skills Requirements:
Excellent computer skills; experience in ADP WFN and eTime software and Microsoft Office Suite; Oracle HCM Cloud knowledge a plus
Understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and best practices
Detailed oriented and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees
