As a Sr. Manager, Finance, you will serve as the knowledge source and a business partner providing comprehensive financial analysis support to ITS business lines. By leveraging financial metrics and developing integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations, you will support ITS partners in carrying out their strategic business direction. Your consultative and strategic approach when communicating and collaborating with business leaders, and deep budgeting expertise, will be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead finance team members, including FinOps, and help provide strategic direction to ITS, keeping the mission of the organization and financial stewardship in mind.

  • Manage and monitor group and department adherence to the approved budget.

  • Provide the senior leadership team with complex and varied financial analyses for timely and effective decision making. This requires knowledge of project budgeting, Recoveries, and Capital.

  • Provide data for and/or assists in establishing major financial objectives and policies for the district or Federal Reserve System.

  • Direct the preparation of large and complex (e.g. cross-district) budgets and financial forecasts; provide financial analyses for highly impactful initiatives.

  • Prepare reports that outline the organization’s major financial position in areas of expenses and budgets based on past, present, and future operations

  • Manage executive reporting, including monthly memos, annual budget, short- and long-term plan decks, and all reporting for periodic business reviews.

  • Participate in District / System work groups related to financial plans and goals, often taking a lead role.

  • Manage the preparation of necessary schedules and reports for filing and reporting; arrange for audits of the group’s accounts; and establish necessary controls to safeguard the group’s assets.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related field or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of related experience in financial management/planning

  • Expertise in financial analysis, planning, reporting, budget development, and control. Experience with project budgeting, recoveries, and capital

  • Advanced proficiency of Excel, MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Workday tooling and reporting preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen.

Required Skills:


  • Experience in FinOps.

  • Experience with Workday tooling and reporting.

  • ​Experience with CASPR principles and framework.

Base Salary Range: Min: $155,700 - Mid: $202,200 - Max: $248,700 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
