Job Description:

Maintenance Internship Projects

Safety Improvements and Risk Assessment Reduction. 

• Perform Ergonomic Assessments using RULA and REBA Analysis. 


• Propose and simulate solutions using 3D modeling software. 


• Coordinate the execution of proposed actions. 


• Measure the improvements made using Risk Assessments tools. 


• 
  Project: Safe enclosure and Interlocks for Swage Press Process.

Cost Savings Project.  

• Perform process mapping and industrial studies. 


• Estimate financial savings and Return of Investment (ROI) in proposed solutions.


• Simulate solutions, improve process through mechanical design and automation. 


• Execute and supervise solutions.


• 
  Project: Filter Press Addition to Elementary Neutralization Station.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering. 


• Working knowledge of Solid Works and 3D modeling.


• Experience in Office 360 tools (Excel, Power Point).


• Must be able to work in the plant.


• Experience working with PlCs and automation concepts is a plus.
