Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 

Mechanical

• Preventive and unscheduled maintenance of automated industrial machinery on their mechanic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including but not limited to conveyors, mechanical presses, clutch/brakes,  drives, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, and other related equipment.


• Understanding and troubleshooting of natural gas combustion systems and their components.


• Industrial welding skills


• Use precise measuring instruments

Electrical

• Performs tasks including, but not limited to electrical, electronic and  PLC  troubleshooting and repair of equipment.

• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers.


• Install, monitor, and maintain various types of motors, drives, PLC’s, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and transformers.


• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.


• Install, repair, replace and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.


• Performs inspections of electrical components and distribution controls.


• Perform preventative maintenance (PM’s) on all systems, mechanical or electrical mechanical.


• Understand both AC & DC Voltages

Education and Experience

• Typically possess 3-5 years experience for Mechanical, 5-7 years for Electrical related experience or a combination of training and experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, control circuits, motors, motor control circuits, and other electrical and electronic systems and equipment. 


• 
  Ability to read and understand commercial/electrical blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  


• Electrical - apply the NEC through the full range of commercial and industrial maintenance. 


• Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to install, repair, replace and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliance. 


• Electrical - competency in all phases of AC, DC, Allen Bradley PLC 5 & SLC 500, Siemens and Servo systems. 


• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team members.


• Practical measurements (length, temperature, energy, force, power, fluid, etc.)


• • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.

Compensation Range:

The wage rate for this position is $ 40.48 to $ 44.53 per hour. The wage rate offered for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. For wage rates that show equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive in addition to the hourly wage.
