Security/Building Automation Technician at Schneider Electric USA, Inc in FRANKLIN, Tennessee

Job Description:

Schneider Electric is looking for an Security/Building Automation Technician

We are looking for an experienced Security/Building AutomationTechncian that has experience on configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations including:


  • Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment remote or on site.

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions

  • Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced

  • Respond to On Demand service calls.

  • Participation in after-hours on call rotation when appropriate

  • May provide onsite training for customer support personnel

  • Maintain test records and site configuration information

  • Assist in commissioning and startup of new Integrated Security Systems to ensure proper operation


Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency:

Works under limited supervision for routine situations.


  • Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees.

  • Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.

  • Execute maintenance and repair on customer installed base, in a specific delimited know-how


Requirements:

  • CCTV systems, Access Controls

  • Network Device Experience Required

  • Experience With Commercial Customer Sites

  • Aerial Lift Experience

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills

  • Building Automation

  • Continuum experience is a plus

  • Video Management Systems Experience Required
