Here’s What You’ll Get To Do



  • Ability to teach/coach and provide guidance at all levels on Value Stream Mapping processes, time studies, Kaizen events, Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, and Job Element Sheets, root cause analysis using 5-Why, Cause & Effect Diagram, A3 tools, New Product Introduction (NPI) validation, creating test validation plans, Gauge Studies, and statistical analysis.

  • Leads activities in addressing voice of the customer information. Leads in addressing complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how job function integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Can lead lean activities both internally and externally to drive continuous improvement.

  • Acts as a resource for Team Members with less experience; leads projects of various complexity with manageable risks and resource requirements.

  • exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Capable of coaching and mentoring others on the use of problem-solving tools (5-Why, Logic Tree, Cause & Effect diagram, A3, etc.) to determine root cause analysis and derive countermeasures.

  • Impacts a range of customer; operational, project or service activities within own job function and other related disciplines, works within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.

  • Mentors Technicians, other Engineers, Leads, Supervisors to ensure manufacturing efficiencies are achieved and meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

  • Has a proficient understanding of lean principles, quality systems, statistical tools, and procedures.

  • Facilitates continuous improvement within business processes, new product development projects, supplier improvement efforts, &/or customer/product issues of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review on a variety of factors.

  • Demonstrates exceptional judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with Senior key contacts outside own area of expertise.

  • Demonstrates a fair understanding of general business principles and moderate level of market awareness. Has some business management experience or training.

  • Acts with understanding of how own role impacts the team and Cost of Quality.




    Here’s What We’re Looking For



    • 10+ years’ experience and has mastered and/or is considered a mentor in the use of Toyota Production Systems, quality systems, statistical tools, lean concepts, and procedures.

    • Capable of leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity.

    • Can lead and teach best practices for internal or external business issues to improve manufacturing, products or services.

    • Bachelor’s degree in technical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering) or equivalent experience 10+ years related experience and/or training.

    • Extensive quality tools experience (PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, Leaders Standard Work, Gauge R&R, Statistical analysis, A3, etc.).

    • Has an in depth understanding and expertise on the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to continually improve processes.

    • CQM, ISO 9000/TS-16949 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Master

    • Black Belt certification, or equivalent experience

    • Competent in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel), Visio, Minitab and company ERP system.
